Esta \u00e9 composta por uma grande variedade de fauna e flora e localiza-se na Mealhada, no limite entre os distritos de Aveiro e Coimbra.\u00a0A\u00a0<strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">entry<\/strong>\u00a0(surrounded by a wall) is free if done on foot. For access by car, you need to pay \u20ac5\/car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Being a large area, we leave here a few tips to make the best use of this destination. Additionally, you can purchase a <strong>map<\/strong> at the tourist station for the symbolic price of 0.50\u20ac (em dezembro de 2020). Maria I. Currently converted into a Hotel, this construction immediately captures the eyes of those who arrive here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Around it, there are several staircases and, on one side, tile panels with moments alluding to the discoveries and the Battle of Bu\u00e7aco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To visit its interior, they need to stay there, and can do so through several platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next to the Hotel we find the Convent of Santa Cruz, linked to the religious practices of the Discalced Carmelites. Appearing to be a small building due to its funneled entrance, its interior convinces by its majesty, opening into wide spaces.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apesar de ser de acesso gratuito, o Convento tem um hor\u00e1rio de funcionamento, coincidente com o do posto tur\u00edstico em frente. Dito isto, tenham  hor\u00e1rio em aten\u00e7\u00e3o na vossa visita. Aqui podem ainda optar por uma visita guiada (paga).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No seu redor encontramos um maravilhoso jardim, extremamente bem cuidado. This consists of a fountain that joins two distinct water lines of Bu\u00e7aco, creating a cascade effect through a long staircase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <b>Cold Fountain Lake<\/b>at the bottom of the staircase was a later addition, resulting from a reconstruction of this part of the forest. Here we recommend that you take a walk and get to know the fauna and flora of this area, such as <b>Vale dos Fetos<\/b>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To get here you can do the route by car, staying very close to the Palace. On the access road to the central part of the forest, there will be a roadblock (with signs) leading to an area where you can leave your car. From there it is only a few meters walk to the top of the stairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tenham em aten\u00e7\u00e3o que, como o nome indica, esta zona \u00e9 muito fria devido \u00e0 \u00e1gua e \u00e0 vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o densa. Assim sendo, recomendamos que, mesmo na altura de Ver\u00e3o, se fa\u00e7am acompanhar de um casaco.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:54px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">High Cross<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The High Cross is, in our opinion, one of the places not to be missed in Bu\u00e7aco. Being the <strong>highest point<\/strong> of Serra do Bu\u00e7aco (547 meters high), this represents the final stop on the Via Crucis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9 tamb\u00e9m neste miradouro que temos uma paisagem de cortar a respira\u00e7\u00e3o. Conseguimos ver desde o Oceano Atl\u00e2ntico, \u00e0 Serra do Caramulo e \u00e0 Serra da Estrela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este miradouro \u00e9 acess\u00edvel atrav\u00e9s de estradas, em bom estado de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o, onde podem passar carros ou, como n\u00f3s opt\u00e1mos por fazer, a p\u00e9. O acesso a p\u00e9 \u00e9 feito pela chamada de Floresta Rel\u00edquia, a parte mais densa e antiga desta Mata, sendo a nossa recomenda\u00e7\u00e3o seguinte.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:48px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter has-custom-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rotadoamanha.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/FlorestaReliquia_CruzAlta-1024x410.png\" alt=\"Cruz Alta\" style=\"border-width:3px;border-top-left-radius:20px;border-top-right-radius:20px;border-bottom-left-radius:20px;border-bottom-right-radius:20px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:52px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Trilhos e Adernal no Bu\u00e7aco<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The National Forest of Bu\u00e7aco has a total of <strong>4 rails<\/strong> : the Water Trail (which focuses more on the Fonte Fria region), the Relic Forest Trail (which goes from the Hotel Palace to the High Cross and from there to the Gates of Coimbra), the Military Trail (which goes to the Military Museum, outside the wall of the Forest), and the Via Sacra Trail (recreating the route taken by the friars who lived here).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we mentioned before, you can choose to buy a map with the indication of the trails in the tourist\/information office, costing 0.5\u20ac. In this space, the route that was recommended to us was <strong>Relic Forest<\/strong>This is because it allows us to get to know the farthest and most beautiful part of the forest: the 'adernal', one of the most primitive and dense parts of this area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:57px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex
