However, this region has even more to offer. This artisan built more than 50 buildings in total, many of them recreations of works from the region, such as the Castle of Arn\u00f3ia, another location that we recommend visiting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fame of this museum (free entry) became so great that the Parish Council decided to tar the entrance to the village and provide signage, giving it an even more realistic image.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:38px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped has-text-align-center\">Church of the Divine Savior of Ferven\u00e7a&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft is-resized has-custom-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rotadoamanha.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/elementor\/thumbs\/Fervenca_CeloricoBastos_1-pm5fc89xzopx6ym3sw0dzjympf2cfbxxeh2ealqpds.jpg\" alt=\"Igreja Ferven\u00e7a\" style=\"border-width:3px;border-radius:20px;width:388px;height:517px\" title=\"Ferven\u00e7a_CeloricoBastos_1\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This Church has, in its construction, a great mixture of styles, referring to different historical periods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite its unusual fa\u00e7ade, where the immense windows are different from the usual, this small Church has a very simple interior, with white walls leading to a modest but beautiful altar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the Romanesque Route, the visit to the Church must be booked in advance (paying a fee) or during worship hours (Saturday at 4 pm and Sundays at 8 am).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:51px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">castelo de dirt. It is a very small castle, with a triangle-shaped wall and a large tower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To our great surprise, the tower was open, with free access, and even allowed to climb to its top. However, we do not recommend this climb for anyone who is afraid or uncomfortable with heights, as it is done through steep wooden stairs that, despite having an arched protection, are a little scary.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:35px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script>\n<!-- Verticais laterais -->\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display:block\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4062967657049718\" data-ad-slot=\"8857927712\" data-ad-format=\"auto\" data-full-width-responsive=\"true\"><\/ins>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:29px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">church of santa maria de veade<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignleft is-resized has-custom-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rotadoamanha.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/elementor\/thumbs\/IgrejaVeade_CeloricoBastos_1-pm5g5agbaahrwnqbxwvxb61noclrribl3kewf3e1vk.jpg\" alt=\"IgrejaVeade_CeloricoBastos_1\" style=\"border-width:3px;border-radius:20px;aspect-ratio:0.7507598784194529;width:278px;height:auto\" title=\"IgrejaVeade_CeloricoBastos_1\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With a breathtaking altar, the Church of Santa Maria de Veade was rebuilt where a 13th-century church would have once stood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite the beautiful sides, decorated with different symbols, it is on the altar that this church conquers: a rounded altar full of gold carvings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como acontece com as outras Igrejas pertencentes a esta Rota, a visita \u00e0 Igreja s\u00f3 \u00e9 poss\u00edvel atrav\u00e9s de marca\u00e7\u00e3o (com o pagamento de uma taxa) ou no hor\u00e1rio do culto (domingo \u00e0s 8h).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:64px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Church of the Divine Salvador de Ribas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignright has-custom-border\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rotadoamanha.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/elementor\/thumbs\/IgrejaRibas_CeloricoBastos_1-pm5gf7mzfc3ax2nsc9ym5rqtsm5gadorq5t8t77egw.jpg\" alt=\"Igreja Ribas\" style=\"border-width:3px;border-radius:20px\" title=\"IgrejaRibas_CeloricoBastos_1\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>One of our favorite churches on the Route of the Romanesque, the Igreja do Divino Salvador de Ribas. This Church dates from 1269 and has a beautiful set of bells, which are still functional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, the interior evokes respect, with gilded carvings that embrace the statues of the various saints found here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our case, we visited this church during church and we were lucky enough to hear the bells calling people to mass, ringing for about 10 minutes. Although it is no longer in Celorico de Bastos, but in Fafe, about a 15-minute drive away, Casa do Penedo is a destination that we highly recommend to anyone visiting the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Known as the Strangest House in the World, this small house in the middle of Serra de Fafe goes unnoticed in the landscape by those who don't know it's there. Therefore, we recommend visiting this house, especially at sunset \u2013 we guarantee that you will not regret it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full
